Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2023

Bulky item pickup is provided by the city but the service is not free.

You can request pickup by calling the Environmental Service Department at (915) 212-6000.

This service is available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The cost is $35 for 5 cubic yards or less. Its $7 for each additional cubic yard. Tax will be added.

You may take your bulk items to one of the citizen collection stations.

El Paso residents (No commercial business / contractors) can take trash, household hazardous waste, and bulky items to one of four public drop-off locations, known as Citizen Collection Stations, within the city.

Trash is collected at the Citizen Collection Stations and then taken to the Greater El Paso Landfill for disposal.

The Citizen Collection Stations also function as additional drop-off sites for recyclables, to complement the city’s curbside recycling program.

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.

Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.

  1. Your website is not user friendly. I put in my address to check my recycle pickup date, and it didn’t find my address?!

    I then go to see if you have a calendar for recycle schedule, and it says “here is the link” but there is no link. Wow!

  2. I am having the same problem as that listed previously on November 30th, 2022. It’s now January 18th, 2023 and the problem still exists.

    I seem to have displaced the flyer detailing which days have recycling pick-up, but it’s impossible to obtain that information from your website.
