Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024
Bulky items collection must be scheduled, call customer service at least one business day prior to collection day at 940 349-8700 to schedule. Residents can have up to two large household items picked up weekly at no charge. Additional items can be scheduled for a fee.
Items that can be collected for an additional fee include:
- Construction and demolition waste such as lumber, brick, fencing, drywall, carpet, and fixtures.
- Televisions, monitors, laptops, or anything with a screen.
- Any appliances containing PCBs or refrigerants such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, or water coolers. Refrigerants are disposed of properly at a permitted disposal facility

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
