Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024
Bulky items are collected on the same day as trash and should be placed at the collection location near the trash cart.
As a rule of thumb, items that are too large to fit in the back of a pickup truck should not be disposed of as bulky waste. Special collection services for these and similar oversized items must be arranged directly with Republic Services. Payment for such services will be the responsibility of the resident.
The combination of bulky waste and yard waste set out must not exceed three (3) cubic yards on any given trash/recycling day.

- Fencing (cut to 4’x4′ or 4’x3′ sections)
- Large toys
- Mattresses
- Do-It-Yourself project waste
- Carpeting in bundles (no more than 4′ in length)
*Appliances with PCB/CFC/HCFC coolant (fridges, freezers, A/C units, etc.) must be tagged by a certified technician that the coolant has been safely removed in order to be eligible for curb pickup. Local recyclers or a removal service are two alternatives to disposal.

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
