- New Year’s Day – Monday collection will be: Friday 1/6/2023
- Independence Day – Tuesday collection will be: Friday 7/7/2023
- Thanksgiving Day – Thursday collection will be: Friday 11/24/2023
- Christmas Day – Monday (25th) collection will be: Friday 12/29/2023
If your regular trash collection day falls on one of the four holidays listed, your trash will be collected on Friday of that week. (Dates subject to change). If a holiday is not listed, your trash collection will be on your regular scheduled collections day.

Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
- Furniture, large totes, white goods (washer, dryer, refrigerator, etc.)*, or similar materials which cannot be placed in trash containers.
- When bundling items (broken down boxes), the bundle shall not exceed 50 pounds.
Unacceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
Tires (tires are collected separately), household hazardous waste, construction remodeling (carpet, wood, cabinets) demolition materials. Materials containing glass or mirrors, carpeting, toilets or sinks.
Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
