Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2023

Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup

  • Furniture, tree debris, and other items that will not fit in the cart are collected once per week from residential units only. Items can be no longer than 6 ft. in length and/or 400 pounds. Smaller pieces of concrete or shingles must be containerized. Automobile engines must be drained of fluids.
  • White goods: Large appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, washers or any other similar large domestic appliance, are collected once per week from residential units only (limit 4 per address per week).
  • Tires: Automotive and small truck tires are collected once per week from residential units only. (limit 4 tires per address per week).

Unacceptable Items for Bulk Pickup

Hazardous waste, batteries and electronics.

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.

Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
