To ensure we are following all federal, state, and local laws, the items we accept vary by area. The best way to find out if something is acceptable or unacceptable in your area, is to check your address with one of our agents through Live Chat or over the phone during normal business hours.
For items with a little life left in them, check local options for donating (reuse) or recycling. There may be someone out there that can’t wait to say “Hello” to that same item.

Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
