If your garbage day falls on or is after the following holidays, your garbage day and the remaining week’s pick up will be delayed by one day, with Friday’s garbage being picked up on Saturday.

- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
For all other holidays, garbage is picked up on your normal garbage day.

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
