Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024
Large appliances, electronics, and other bulky waste may be disposed of curbside, however, many items require a disposal permit. Please use the “Get Rid of It Right” tool to determine if you need a permit for your item or to learn other ways to dispose of the item properly.
The following items require a permit and payment of a fee:
- Air Conditioners*
- Clothes Washers & Dryers
- Copiers & Printers (More than 40 lbs)
- Dehumidifiers*
- Refrigerators* & Freezers* (must remove doors, non-commercial)
- Stoves
- TVs & Computer Monitors (Over 20″ diagonal screen length)
- Trash Compactors
- Water Coolers & Heaters
- Larger Exercise equipment (motorized)
Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
