The Division of Solid Waste Management offers a special pick up for large bulk items. For more information or to schedule an appointment for a special pick up, please call 609-989-3175, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.

Recycling Collection Calendar 2024
For information regarding recycling please call The Mercer County Improvement Authority at 609-278-8086. Residents can pick up recycling buckets at 707 Calhoun Avenue with a valid NJ Driver’s License or proof of City residency between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m, Monday through Saturday. and no longer at MCIA.
