Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024

Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
- Carpet/Rugs: Cut into 4-foot lengths, rolled and tied with biodegradable material such as tape, twine, etc.
- Couches: Hide-a-beds must be tied/secured so frame dos not unfold and wrapped in plastic (Bed Bugs/Rain soak)
- Mattresses/Box Springs: Due to BED BUGS and to prevent EXTRA WEIGHT from posible RAIN-SOAK, these items need to be wrapped in plastic.
- Refrigerators & Freezers: Doors must be taken off appliances and must be clean of all food products. (Empty)
- Washers & Dryers: All water must be drained from washers. Appliances must be empty.
- Lumber: Cut into lengths no longer than 4-foot lengths and tied or taped into manageable bundles.
- Lawnmowers/Snow Blowers: Must be drained of all fluids. (Oil & Gas)
- Gas Grills: Tanks must be removed. (We do not pick up tanks)
- Garage Doors: Doors must be taken apart and cut into 4-foot sections.
- Railroad Ties: Must be cut into manageable sections.
- Paint Cans: Lids must be removed. Paint in cans must be dried out or cans need to be completely empty.
- Smaller items shall be bagged and tied: 2 Tall Kitchen Bags = 1 Item.

- Construction Materials
- Chemicals
- Hazardous Waste
Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
