The city of Orange is located in California and surrounded by Anaheim, Tustin, Santa Ana, and Villa Park and is inland from Huntington Beach, and north of Irvine.
There may be changes to your normal collection schedule due to holidays, weather, or roadwork.

Trash Pickup Schedule 2024
For residents in the City of Orange, CA, trash collection is performed by CR&R.
Holiday Trash Schedule
- New Years Day: January 1
- Memorial Day: Last Monday in May
- Independence Day: July 4
- Labor Day: First Monday in September
- Thanksgiving: Fourth Thursday in November
- Christmas Day: December 25
When any of the above holidays fall on or observed Monday through Friday, trash collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. If this results in trash collection and street sweeping being scheduled for the same day, residents are asked to place their carts on top of the curb or parkway for collection rather than in the street.
Bulk Trash Schedule
City of Orange bulkly pickup is provided by CR&R
CR&R provides free bulky item collection to every City of Orange residential account. Each account is entitled to four (4) bulky items, 4 times per year. That equates to 16 large items per year.
