Here you can see the city-observed holidays.
Statutory holidays can impact your pickup day. Whenever a holiday falls between Tuesday and Friday, your collection will shift to the following day. For example, on Good Friday there will be no collection. Friday Areas A & B, will be collected one day later on Saturday.

Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
- Couches
- Chairs — wooden, plastic
- Mattresses, box springs
- Toilets
- 2-piece toilets must be separated when set out at the curb. The tank must be detached from the bowl for the health and safety of the collectors.
- 1-piece toilets (tank and bowl are one unit) can be set out as is.
Local charities accept donations of new and gently-used home furnishings, appliances and renovation items. Always check with the charity to confirm if your item is acceptable, drop off instructions or to possibly arrange for a free home pick-up.
