Service may be delayed one day for the remainder of the week following the holiday.

Please note, when a holiday falls on a weekend, which is not a normal service day, Trash and Recycling will NOT be delayed.

Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024

Bulk waste pickup has a fee of $20.00 per item to be paid by the resident. Bulky landscape waste is an additional fee of $45.00 per pickup. Please contact Republic Services at least 48 hours prior to your normal pickup day if you have a heavy or bulky item. Prior arrangements are required. Unacceptable Items for Bulk Pickup

  • Demolition, construction or discarded building materials, like drywall, roofing, brick and wood
  • Trees, large tree limbs or tree stumps longer than 4 feet in length (only limbs cut shorter than 4 feet and tied and bundled will be taken)
  • Brush and vegetation from building contractors, commercial tree trimmers, or lawn services
  • Sod, fill dirt and trash from contractor clearing, and other materials that require special handling Explosives, pathological and biological waste, radioactive material, ashes, and sand
  • Automotive parts like engines, rear ends, springs, fenders and seats
  • Farm equipment, marine vessels, or any other major parts
  • Septic, human, and animal waste (minimal amounts, like diapers and kitty litter, are OK)

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.

Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
