Bulk items will be collected on your weekly collection day at no additional cost. Call GFL if you should have any questions or need additional information at 844-464-3587.
Appliances with Freon
Items containing Freon will need to have a sticker on the appliance. Stickers must be purchased at City Hall and placed on the appliance prior to pickup. The cost of the sticker is $35.00. Put this sticker on the appliance as late as possible, should a scrap collector take the item before GFL collects it, you may take the sticker back to City Hall for a refund.

- carpeting should be rolled in bundles of no more than four feet in length and tied

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.

Trash collection starts at 7 a.m. Make sure to have your bins on the curb by then.
Rubbish shall not be placed on the street earlier than 5:00 pm of the night before regular pickup day. Empty receptacles shall be removed from the streets no later than 7:00 pm the day of the pickup.
