The City schedules double pick days when the regular collection day is a holiday. The rest of the week’s collection day’s remain unaffected and proceed as usual.

Bulk Waste Pickup
Curbside bulky waste collection is available throughout the City. City of Fond du Lac residents should call 920-322-3540 to schedule the bulk curbside collection. The charge is $40 per cubic yard with a $40.00 minimum. As a general rule of thumb, the charge is $40 per larger item and a measurement will be taken for yardage on miscellaneous items (bags, boxed items, etc). Additional fees may apply should Freon or tires be included in the curbside collection. If paying by phone, an additional $5 charge applies.

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.

What time does trash collection start?
Trash collection starts at 5 a.m. Make sure to have your bins on the curb by then.
Residents may place carts to curb on the evening prior to their assigned collection day and must be removed from the curb by 9:00 a.m. of the day following collection. Carts need to be placed along the curb line (out of the road) immediately adjacent to the property which has generated the waste.
