Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
- Household Items
- BBQ Grills (no propane tanks)
- Bicycles
- Furniture (tables, chairs, mattresses, etc.)
- Leaves and small yard debris must be bagged or boxed
- Branches, limbs and large debris must be cut into four foot (4’) lengths and tied
- Appliances (those which contain or have contained, CFC’s (Freon) must be accompanied by a certificate from a licensed professional stating that the CFC’s have been evacuated.
Unacceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
No items over 50 pounds will be collected
- Tires
- Oil
- Propane Tanks
- Automobile Batteries
- Hazardous Wastes
- Concrete, blocks, brick, asphalt, stone or dirt
- No Commercial, contractor or demolition debris will be collected

If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
