Here you can see the city-observed holidays.
- New Year’s Day – Collection services will be postponed by one day for the entire week following the holiday, as the holiday will be observed by LRS on Monday, 1/2/2023
- Memorial Day – Collection will be postponed by one day for the entire week.
- Independence Day – Collection service for Monday, 7/3/2023 will NOT be postponed. Tuesday-Friday collection service will be postponed by one day for the rest of the week.
- Labor Day – Collection will be postponed by one day for the entire week.
- Thanksgiving Day – Collection services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will NOT be postponed. Thursday and Friday collection services will be postponed by one day.
- Christmas Day – Collection services will be postponed by one day for the entire week.
- New Year’s Day – Collection will be postponed by one day for the entire week.

Bulk Waste Pickup Calendar 2024

LRS will collect one bulk item a week with two pink refuse stickers affixed to the item. Bulk items may not exceed 50 pounds as a general guideline.
Bulk items that require additional equipment or labor to manage are considered a Special Refuse Collection. Contact LRS at 844-633-3577 or send an e-mail with a photo of the item(s) to Service@ LRSrecycles.com for an item exceeding 50 pounds in weight.
LRS does not require notification for the collection of one bulk item per week as long as it is able to be managed by the regular service driver and vehicle and has two pink refuse stickers affixed to it.

Unacceptable Items for Bulk Pickup

Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
