Trash Pick Up Holidays
The city of Durham’s Solid Waste Management Department will be closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 24.
Curbside collections for Thursday garbage, Red Thursday recycling, and Thursday yard waste customers will be delayed to Friday, Nov. 25. Friday yard waste routes will be delayed to Monday, Nov. 28.
The city’s Waste Disposal and Recycling Center, Yard Waste Facility, and Household Hazardous Waste Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Saturday, Nov. 26. The facilities will operate on their normal schedules on Friday, Nov. 25.
