Acceptable Items for Bulk Pickup
Bulky item pick-up is FREE to residents for up to four (4) pieces each week
- Large & small appliances
- Furniture
- Mattresses, box springs, & bed frames
- Bicycles & swing sets
- Barbecues
- Carpet rolled and bundled (bundles should not exceed 4ft)
- Computer monitors, laptop computer
- Standard LCD televisions up to 37inches (for televisions over 37 inches, please advice Burrtec representative for special handling)

- Industrial waste
- Business waste
- Hazardous waste
- Engines & car parts
- Tires
- Building materials
- Bagged household trash
Have bulky items the city won’t pick up? You need a junk removal service.
If you have large items that the city won’t take from you, you may need to hire a junk removal service.
Junk removal services are not be as picky about the items they’re collecting so if the city won’t take the item, this may be your best bet. There’s usually a fee involved with junk removal but most companies can tell you ahead of time approximately what it’s going to cost.
